Online Safety For Staff

As school staff, it is important that you look after your professional reputation, and this is just as relevant online as it is offline.

It is worth reviewing any online content which relates to you, particularly on social media and adjusting your privacy settings accordingly. There is clear guidance supported by the Teaching Unions to say that being friends with pupils on social media is not appropriate.

As Hall School are implementing the SoSAFE! Programme, all staff are considered 'Community Workers', good practice therefore suggests staff do not interact with students online.
